I don't use tire pressure gauges. I simply inflate my tires using the gauge on my pump. Using any tire pressure gauge means that some of the air in the inner tube has to be taken out of the tire which will lower the tire pressure. For narrow low volume high pressure tires this will mean that your tire pressure will be lower every time you use the gauge
The simple fix for this is to slightly over-inflate and then bleed down with the pressure gauge.
My pump gauge is accurate enough not to have to bother doing this, but I do occasionally check with my Topeak digital gauge. It loses minimal pressure if I’m careful, but it is easy to lose a few psi if I’m not!
