Just 25 miles on the trainer! It was raining last night in DC so I dragged out the trainer to watch TV while putting on some base miles. There's a cm wide flat spot right down the center now. 80 miles on new tires, no wear ... 25 miles on the trainer, looks like I rode 2500.

And cleaning up ... took almost as long as the 25 miles! Rubber crumbs everywhere, haven't had that many on the bike / floor / carpet / countertop (!) since trig in HS.

Hutchinson Fusion Comps, great for racing, bad bad bad for training. At least the trainer's back in the closet until November. I can buy a an actual trainer tire then... /rant
