Good eye, PastorBob. I agree. The people at Kelly seem to be thinking a little differently than other bike builders. Interesting. Perhaps they are hiding a stack of spacers under that rubber shock cover? I'm not exactly sure what they are up to but it is interesting. Kelly's websight list forks, but no suspension forks.

I'm still thinking about this "Take Off" mount for shifters.

By the way, the plastic on the Grotech levers is an engineering plastic with reinforcing fiber that strengthens the plastic. I don't have a issue with it being plastic or the look, my concern, and it could be unfounded, is that the mechanism may be complcated given that it may need clutches and/or pawls with tiny springs. And it has a more complicated setup.
