First time ever patching a tube. I did not wait for 5 minutes for the glue to dry and applied the patch something like 20-30 seconds after applying the glue on the tube. I left it for a couple of hours under weight, and later I saw that I should wait for the glue to dry for at least 5 minutes. It looks like it has been patched, no leaks. But would you trust this patchwork? Is there some test for the patch to see if it has been properly done?
