The Cannondale Topstone aluminum 105 was $1650 or so in 2019. Not a bad deal, decent components, but terrible wheels. It was a year or so before Shimano introduced the GRX group, so they gave it 105, excepting an FSA 30/46 crank which was appropriate to the use. Really good riding bike. I quickly added a second set of inexpensive wheels with a 12-25 cassette and 28mm tires to use on asphalt. Thats a great way to make a versatile road bike. I last fall swapped to Hunt caron 50 wheels for the road and re-purposed the Bontrager 37 wheels from my Emonda with Gravel King SK gravel tires and all my bikes are now tubeless. Added costs about $1000
