let me hear the stories.
recently i went into one to check it out, and he guy saw my bike then tried to "upgrade" my to one of those frankinstein alphas you see on ebay. my bike isnt the greatest, but i would never trade my pista+crhis king headset + eggbeaters + sella italia slr (just my fav parts) for one of those things.

then he proceeded to try and sell me a 12 dollar helmet, and that i would not be able to find a BMX style helmet for under 80... then he said a hockey mask would protect me more and be cooler in the summer than a BMX helmet.
