There is another type of large diameter tool that has a splined bore that accepts a smaller diameter “atom” tool. I suggest filling the internal splines to prevent distortion with that design of remover.

these are decent and way back were used to failure. They can be rebuilt. I would avoid grease other than a very light amount to keep the ball bearings in position. No grease on the pawls.

matched machining was just not that great, Regina Extras were often the worst
