WOW!!! Just remember there is nothing wrong with being a Porch Dog for a few months. I have followed more then a few athletes after open heart surgery. Most told me it was their lungs that took the longest recovery. Don't rush it man. You're an inspiration.
Seconding the advice about taking it easy. You'll be champing at the bit to get back on the bike, but as far as your body is concerned, major surgery is major trauma.
Remember---those rides, however hard they were, lasted only a few hours. Recovery from heart surgery is just as stressful as those rides, but instead of a few hours, it's 24/7.
