So something doesn't quite add up there. Why do professional racers at the highest levels still suffer flats if the technology to prevent them is widely available to you and I?
They are running the thinnest, lightest tires. Racing makes the data to see their MTBF and decide if they are outweighing any gains. But also worth remembering that they were running caffelatex already in the tubulars years before they switched to tubeless, so they didn't make the same change we did from clinchers with butyl tubes.
