I had a very brief scary moment. A bee got into my helmet (a bee in my bonnet?) just as I was about to stop. I ripped my helmet off so fast, I stopped looking at where I was going. I slammed into a parked car. Lucky I wasn't going so fast, and the impact wasn't bad at all. I didn't get stung or injured.

I went into the luncheonette I was heading for and told the owner the story which I thought she would find funny. She said, "You hit my gold minivan?" She had just opened up the luncheonette/candy store, and I was there to check it out and welcome her. Ah well, and we got along just fine.
