Hi,

I’m trying to remove the Shimano 600 brake levers from my handlebars, but instead of loosening a socket head screw, it looks like I’ve got to remove a hex nut from a threaded rod. Problem is, there’s such little clearance around the nut that I can’t fit my 8mm wrench in the narrow gap. Needle-nose pliers aren’t doing much better. Do I have the wrong tools or the wrong idea?
