The annual Ride of Silence is coming up in 2 weeks. It is always the 3rd Wednesday in May. It's purpose is to call attention to cycling safety while recognizing those who have lost their lives cycling on public roads. It is always a low speed & short distance memorial type ride, usually in the late afternoon / early evening.

We lost one of our own in early March this year, forum member
3speedslow (Law Miner) passed away from his injuries sustained a week earlier. Law lived near me in a neighboring town and we met through the forum. Ironically one of the first rides we did together was the 2019 Ride of Silence. This year will have special significance for me.
