There are 10 gates on the way up, so it would be expected that one of those should give 250xp. I rode it five times, so I had 50 chances to get 250xp. That means that some level 100 rider that didn't need them got my 250xp rewards and I want them back.
Granted, each gate is an independent experiment, so the probability of getting screwed like I did is greater than zero, but I still don't like it.
