Well…kudos to you, Jen, for planning to at least “toe the line.” It’s been a long, long time since I’ve done a tri longer than an Oly. But, I have done longer individual events in similar conditions. The best advice I can offer is ‘drink early, drink often.’ Number one concern is your personal safety. Hopefully there will be medical/safety observers along the course watching for dehydration and/or heatstroke. Good luck.
