There's a continuum of models from race-light to durable-heavy, from road-slick to trail-aggressive. So whatever place on that continuum your personal need falls, you can find a tire suited to your place on the continuum regardless of going for Panaracer directly, or going for RH's "high-end-knockoff".

I think what we are seeing here is someone who has shelled out the cash and is now desperately working to justify their past purchase, because failing to justify the purchase would be to admit to the reality that they fell for marketing.
