The past 2 days have been rough ones on the MTBs. Last night, I got taken out in the sprint for 3rd at our weeknight XC race. I still managed to pop up first to hobble across the line for 3rd. I'm pretty beat up and my front wheel required some new spokes. I also ruined one of my brand new team kits.
I should've taken the day off, but dumb me thought it would be a good idea to take the enduro bike out today for some local laps. That was a terrible idea...I started out great, but then felt like absolute rubbish and ended up with a gnarly arm cramp on the downhill. I ended up calling it quits early and I'm still feeling crappy. Most of the damage was to my shoulder and hip, so I don't think I'm dying lol.
