I don't think I have seen one of these computers for over 1k and for a road bike 1k is the absolute bottom end of something decent and these days it is kind of below that unless something is on a mega sale. I am not getting a high end computer like a Garmin or Hammerhead for a cheap hybrid. In the end I would have to buy a Garmin Edge 1040 Solar and the new Varia Vue and a Varia Tailight Camera to add up to the average Tiagra or maybe 105 equipped basic aluminum bike. Garmins aren't that expensive and I don't need to get the most expensive one unless I wanted to.

For their most expensive computer that is the cost of a basic 9 speed hybrid with relatively cheap parts. Not something I would want or need a Garmin for I would be fine with a Cateye Enduro wired computer or none at all.
