I don’t understand why Strava would want to make a software app to run on some generic GPS bike computer with a Strava badge?

Pretty much everyone using a dedicated bike computer automatically uploads their data to Strava. Those who don’t use Strava would be the least likely to buy a Strava bike computer anyway.

Also worth noting that riders who do choose cheap generic GPS computers over Garmin or Wahoo are not likely to be interested in a premium Strava subscription app either.

Those are my initial thoughts anyway.
