OP, absolutely nobody is going to stop you from buying any type on sunglasses. You can get your kids the wildest most expensive ones on the market, or a pair from the gas station. That's totally up to you.

There's no reason to come on here and try to justify your purchase. If that's what you want, get them.

FWIW, I have one pair of Oakley's. They look like something I'd wear while sitting in my truck recording an unhinged blog post. They were a gift. I don't want to be seen wearing them.
