Sunday: Gravel ride;
Midwest Championships. It's not a race, I don't know why they call it that. Maybe it
used to be? I'll probably do the 63 miler.

What I
actually did this weekend:
Saturday: I joined the full bike club ride, not just the coffee ride. I was going to take an eBike anyway, to save my legs for the metric century gravel ride, but when I saw we had a 20-30 mph wind to fight going west, that was an easy decision. I DID get some flak from my club mates for showing up on an eBike, but they were silenced when I said: "You don't get to tease me for bringing an eBike and then also draft me into the wind, so watch yourself. ;-)"
55 miles Saturday. Still burned 1850 calories. {

Sunday: Midwest Gravel Championship ride. The name makes it sound like a race, and some people were racing, but only in RideWithGPS, as it is not a sanctioned race. It was a beautiful day and I got
my May Gran Fondo in Strava. I rode with two friends, one of whom is a bit slower. That is nice sometimes, as I still get a good Zone 3 workout and don't burn up my legs so much.
64 miles.
