brand new ExMark midmowers.. we bought 21 for our branch and 8 for another branch.. the crew might have left it on as they cleaned the other machines that day... it turned the paint to a flat finish.

i quit using purple power so long ago, i don't recall what it exactly did to bare aluminum.. pretty sure it was what ruined my Enkei modulars once.... spots all over the clear anodized outer rims... i'd been going to the same car wash guy for a couple years, then he ruined my wheels. He paid for two new ones, the other two were minor damage since he'd rinsed them sooner.
i recall not being happy with it on my KX250.. no bare aluminum on it.. all powder coat, i think... It left the Brown's Camp Clay residue EVERYWHERE.
i went with Spic an Span on the advice of my riding partner... it worked.

now i wash my cars/van with dawn and some laundry soap mixed in a pan of warm water... no water spots, and it works fine.
tar spots get removed with some CRC Lectra-Motive on a wash cloth or clean shop rag.
