Surly Hurdy Gurdy, been there, done that and have the knee scars as a souvenir. I'm 190 pounds on a good day and will no longer do a serious ride on horizontal dropouts without the Hurdy Gurdy. Cheaper options out there but, I can't heal like when I was younger so worth the price for me. Does not matter what the cause is, this is the solution. Let me tell, can be a nasty safety issue you don't want to experience.
