My commute doesn't give me much of an opportunity to go all out. From my apartment to the 59th Street bridge my route takes me from stop sign to stop sign to stop sign... better than the red light route though. I do get the bridge for a work out though, but I'm no speed demon going uphill in work attire. I get a quarter mile stretch on 1st Ave if I time it right, but I'm too busy making sure the yellow sharks, trucks, buses and double parked nutcases don't do me any damage...

I'm happy enough to putter into work. On my way back home when I hit Astoria, I've got a stretch up a red light route that, if I time it right, I don't have to stop at all. Funny how I see the same pack of cagers the whole way up as they speed from block to block only to stop...
