I hope he finds his way back. Selfishly, I will need some expert identification help on a couple bikes I purchased recently. It is always fun seeing him rattle off the lug patterns and tying it to countries and manufacturers for our inquiring minds.
I’ve always wondered how he has the information he does at his fingertips regarding so many niche parts, pieces and patterns. Does his background speak to this in any way or does he have an extensive archive of catalogs that he references?
