Didn't mean to offend anyone. But then, people are waaay too offended these days anyways, it's almost impossible to say one word these days without hurting the feelings of someone out there.
Even though I'm a person who uses a bicycle, I am also a motor vehicle driver and I will reserve the right to say anything negative about cyclists the same as I would for motor vehicle drivers or basically anyone else.
I tell things the way they are and the way I see them. You may agree with me at times. You may disagree.
I'm just not going to hold back, be politically correct or give anyone a touchy-feely group hug.
And before anyone decides to react to this post because they feel I am being too harsh and that they are offended and have to reply to it, take a minute, step back, take a deep breath and let it go and think of something better. There's more important things in the world to think about.
You are right, you can say negative things about cyclists.
But what is interesting is that you didn't answer the well-thought-out and very considerate post that EnigManiac gave. You simply chided us that you are not going to be politically correct or engaging in group hugs. That's fine. We don't want any. Some of us hate trees, too.
What we want is for drivers to be cautious, exercise some patience, and be considerate. Slow down. Wait. Go around safely. That's all.
