Wahoo KICKR ROLLR Setup

I bought a Wahoo KICKR ROLLR to use with my indoor trainer (track bike). My intent is to use it mostly for cadence training to increase my maximum cadence since I've started track racing.

Assembly was super simple and Bluetooth connection was pretty easy (to both the ROLLR and SRAM/Quarq spider power meter as well as Wahoo Bolt cycling computer).

The problem is that while the Wahoo app shows different settings (ERG, etc) it doesn't seem to actually control the ROLLR.

Specifically, I want to set the power @ 100 watts and do cadence drills at 10 rpm increments starting @ 100 rpm.

The problem is that the ROLLR has enough resistance @ 45rpm to require ~100watts and increases linearly to ~300+ watts @130 rpm which is too high for my old self.

Can anyone share any secret handshakes?
