Alan Kulwicki was sponsored by Hooters, and in 92, he was vying for the Cup championship. The final race at Atlanta Speedway was the Hooters 500, so my brother and I couldn't think of a better place to watch that race than at the only Hooters in the Denver area. It was a good race, Kulwicki won the championship, and the wings were not bad at all. The NFL fans were a wee bit cranky that NASCAR was monopolizing one of the areas, but they got over it.
