I’ve been more in the habit of wearing my long running tights over my cycling shorts this year. If it’s middle 60s or below, I tend to put up with the possibility that my legs might occasionally feel warm. I figure better slightly warm than cold. Plus I’m riding on our MUP trails and there is always stuff like small sticks and rocks getting kicked up into my legs, so I get fewer scrapes. It’s also been a cooler than normal spring with a lot of super windy days, so I’ve worn the long tights and felt quite comfortable with the temperature.
