Oh so sorry you were confused. You were talking about e-mopeds. A bicycle has no throttle, it is only moved forward by pedaling whether assisted or not. That object you have displayed has a throttle and so do the Lectric mopeds. Please don't get confused like others know what a bicycle is or don't comment on what you do not know.

I know they make the e-mopeds look like bicycles heck they even use similar bottom end and even sometimes slightly nicer components from bicycles but an e-moped allows you to use a throttle which is not present on bicycles because again bicycles will only move forward with pedaling (and yes that can be assisted pedaling but pedaling all the same)

If you want to rail against throttled vehicles, go ahead but DO NOT confuse them with actual bicycles and cause cyclists more problems.

The vehicle you show in that new report looks more like a motorcycle because it has no way of pedaling, those are not uncommon these days and the people riding them can be reckless like some of the moped and scooter drivers and regulating those is not a bad thing but again lumping them in with bicycles causes problems for everyone.
