l'd have loved to have that bike as a fun ride, however.......for me with that XL frame it would be like sitting on the top floor of a double decker bus that they have in London.
When I graduated from High School in 1981, I took my graduation gift money and bought the same exact bike. Then ended up working for a competing LBS that despised Schwinn bikes - of any kind. So I bought the best I could at that time - Raleigh Prestige Grand Sport - sold the Schwinn and never looked back. Fast forward to 2023 I picked that bike at a car show for $15 - cleaned it up and later put it on CL. NOT ONE BITE. The bike was completely all original. I have other fine rides so it was time to let someone LOVE the Schwinn for what it is.
