I saw this pop up and have been looking for one in my size for quite a while. This is a beautiful bike,.as you said, with no modernizations.

to me as a C&V member. The rest of the world will largely not care about this bike nor value it at $600 OBO + shipping, but for those of us that have ridden this era of Specialized touring and sport touring bikes, they are something special indeed. As if
justification was ever needed for C&V/any bike enthusiast, we, well, still employ it. What is the "case" for me with two steel luminaries in the Woodrup and Di2-spec'd Trek 510, plus a new carbon Trek Checkpoint? It would be to experience it, and experience it as an original build, refraining from modernization. And then to just simply ride it on country roads.
Alas, may other tall riders see it and give it a home!
