IMO... cold water is great for pouring onto your legs and back to cool you off when you absolutely have to have relief. Not so great for putting in your stomach if you need that water and/or any carbohydrate it has in it to get into your system ASAP.
If you are still wanting to out pace those delivery guys on scooters and e-bikes, you might need the little bit faster absorption that body temp water will give you.
Yeah, my preference is room temperature water, but others like their water cold. To each their own.
