Just to make it clear. it's not upsetting to me to hear these terms. However to me, they are not as useful as knowing the actual temperature, humidity or dew point, and the wind speed.

Just knowing Real Feel or Humidex doesn't tell you how high the humidity or if the wind is or isn't blowing.

On a bike, I'm moving 15 + or better as a average speed. And 20+ for some segments. So the airflow I'm creating blows the Real Feel and Humidex calculation to heck. That's why I prefer to know the other information and real temperature.

I don't have any issue for those that like the Humidex or Real Feel number. Except I'll scorn you for believing lies! <grin>
