Bikes: Canyon Ultimate CF SL Disc, Canyon Spectral

I got the axle installed. How tight should the CycleOps trainer be on the axle? I don't want to damage the carbon when putting the CycleOps into the closed position.

Or is there some rule of thumb - like the rear wheel should be centered?
