I wouldn't spend that large amount of money for someone else's problem on a bike that is maybe realistically worth that much new. If the customer didn't get it fixed then that sounds like it could be a greater issue.

If you are looking for a throttled vehicle like that there are tons of options out there that are brand new and have similar lower end parts but might have at least a smidgen of warranty support so you aren't overspending to fix their problems.
