After reading reviews on Amazon, I decided to give the Chinese a shot and bought a $60 CAD pair. I could now blindly grab either one, and by hr 3 or 4, I wouldn't know which I was wearing. The initial feel is no doubt more comfortable on the Assos, but that quickly fades.
FWIW I have settled on Voler for my kit. not flashiest, not cheapest, not most expensive, but works for me.

I do find a difference between Voler and say aerotech which I used to like also (which is good for larger sizes)

I got a pair of Assos on sale and was not impressed

Get what works for you, but I find the less younger I get the more I find buying quality (that works for you) pays
