Wait you say the Chinese are involved with manufacturing, how did you find this out? Does anyone else know? You sure they haven't embargoed that information? Could Mikey be deported to China for releasing this info, I mean I truly hope not, that would be such a tragedy and in noooooo way I am being sarcastic at all and noooooobody should ever think that ever.

In terms of them dominating yes and no, a large amount of production is outside of China for bikes for the higher quality stuff it is generally Taiwan but a lot of other stuff is Cambodia, Vietnam and other places. They certainly have the market on fakes and knockoffs pretty well and they do some neat stuff of their own and certainly domestically they dominate bicycles with stuff like the Flying Pigeon and all of those dockless bikeshare things but one might call that more of nuisance than anything else.
