I had a purple one which was my first 10 speed when I was 13 years old. It was sold by the Benny's department store in Danielson, CT. Looks like yours except for the color. I remember the red stripe on the chainguard. It had unique cantilever brakes with a proprietary mount, impossible to get brake pads for. When I worked at the bike shop, we used to change out the brakes for standard side or centerpulls. It had 40x48 chainrings, a little too low top gear for me. I sold it in 1975. I took that bike on my first bike camping trip in 1973, 80 miles each way from Putnam, CT to Mt. Monadnock, NH.

That bike today is literally worthless, it was very low-end, but it served me well as a teenager and sparked a lifelong love of cycling.
