For the person who purchases it NOS with its packaging, yes, nostalgia may make it worth a few hundred dollars. After it's been unpacked and assembled it doesn't matter how mint it is or how NOS it was just a few minutes prior... It'll be hard to sell it for a fraction of the current price.

Agreed, either keep it in the box or hang it directly on your wall to keep mint forever.
