And Tahoe/Truckee - went for a friend of my wife's wedding a few years ago. Had a total blast. Wish I had a bike. Spent most of the trip in Truckee, hiking, jogging, and partying! Would love to go back and cycle the roads and trails more extensively, and visit other sides of the lake. When we first arrived (after driving in from SAC) we stopped to meet some of the betrothed's family for a beer at Squaw Valley. I think they call it Palisades now? Anyway, I had never seen a Ski Resort like that, just dinky so-cal ones. I was blown away by the scale. Amazing.
