I use Conti 3000's that have about 1,500 miles on them I save for my Fluid2...ride 90 or so minutes a day in winter on the trainer and have only switched a tire once this year...very little rubber on the mat under the bike.
What trainer are you using? The "Paris-Roubaix" model?
