Good points about the gearing.

But take a closer look. Isn't that a 3x front. So the small ring will be much less than 39 teeth. Probably down at 30 or below. Though I've never been owner of a 3x bike and don't know what they typically had.

It'd probably give a very good range of gear ratios. As well as some pretty low gearing for most any hill.

But I couldn't really tell by the picture either whether it's for certain 2 or 3x. And it didn't zoom well for me.
