Bikes: Fuji Finest

Hey everyone!,

I just got back from my inaugural ride on the first road bike I've ever owned. It is so awesome!! I rode with such ease and even flew by many riders who were out today heading up the hills. I think haven ridden a mountain bike for so many miles really helped train me very well and riding this sucker was a blast, not to mention easy. I only rode 20.2 today just to break it in, but I did average 15.1 which is high for me, but still not incredible.

Getting used to the toe clips was actually not as hard as I thought it would be. Already I can get in and out with pretty good ease and at most stop lights I just take one foot out so that it's easier to mount again and ride away. I love the handlebars! All the different riding positions are great for different purposes; there's nothing like heading down the swooping descent in to Southport (a local town) crouched down on the bottom of the bars.

Anyways, I have photos but they aren't uploaded yet, but hopefully will be by tonight, but definitely tomorrow. I have to get going now, but I'll post a detailed ride description in the Road Cycling forum later.
