Need some help on a Haral bike

Hi all. A while ago I aquired a mid 80s Haral. It came with a kinesis 1 inch threadleas fork as well as the original threaded fork. I have removed the threadless grear and was going to put the original fork on it.

Me not thinking used a 1 inch Chris King grip nut headset on it. It was after I put this on and was trying to install a 1 inch nitto quill stem that I noticed things were weird. I have since taken everything apart and measured the steerer with calipers. It appears to be a French steerer. Are all Harals like this? Just want to make sure I don’t screw anything up. The Chris King headset didn’t damage anything and threaded right on so I didn’t know until I was trying to put a stem in.

Another question. Are Haral bottom brackets Italian threaded? Thank in advance for the help.
