Does any organized event specify a minimum helmet rating in it's "requirement?"
I have my doubts if an organized event requirement for a helmet "covers" its liability for negligence in any way, but may be useful for discouraging participation by the alleged riff raff who don't fit the profile desired by the organized ride/event leaders.
