That's a peculiar take. When I looked a minute ago, 84 people were viewing the Hybrid Bikes forum, and 32 were viewing (to mention a currently hot segment of the market) Electric Bikes.
From a quick search: road bikes currently represent about 40% of sales in the U.S. adult bike market, followed by hybrid bikes, mountain bikes, and cargo bikes.
