1st metric century, eh? It's a biggy. I remember mine, just a couple years ago. I thought it was insane.
I've done a couple imperial centuries since, and the last 20 miles is never any fun. Neck is getting stiff and butt is getting sore, so I only do a couple per year.
But metrics? Once your bum, neck and wrists are acclimatized, I bet you'll find they're just right for a long ride.

Welcome, from SE Wisconsin!

Enjoy your stay.
