Personally I don't feel their is a large market for suspsension on gravel bikes. There are very few gravel rides / races I have done where I thought it would be nice to have a little suspension...but that's less than 1% of the time. I'm sure that's the same for others. If the road is so crappy that suspension is required its probably better to be riding a XC MTB.
Based on how many Laufs I see out in the wild, I'm doubtful it will be discontinued soon. Even without their leaf-spring fork, the bike is legit as a fully rigid machine.
