Horrifically ugly bike, and with flat bars too. That's a branch that nobody should consider part of their family tree. Certainly nothing to do with gravel precursors, nor modern attempts at suspension. Lineage with the fast outdated and poorly engineered full-suspension 29er MTBs. Hybrids, YUCK.

Bianchi's Paris Roubaix bikes from a decade earlier were funny looking but embodied a functional aesthetic that is absent from other attempts. Gravel lineage is closely tied to competition, Pops riding his overpriced under-functioning Cannondale hybrid on the rail trail isn't in the history book. All the funky stuff at Paris Roubaix, is.
