I guess it might, but right now the hex bolt and cut off bolt are stuck inside the clamp slot. LBS where bike was purchased have not been all that helpful. They don't stock the clamp assembly and said they couldn't order one. They made me buy an entire new seat post (alloy, not carbon) just to use the saddle clamp assembly that came with it. I've since found just the clamp assembly online and ordered one.
